i want to see if this will work go to nissans fb page Nissan | Facebook and post
we need a new silvia/240sx
you can elaborate on it if you want but i hope im not the only one that sees the need for nissan to have something to pep up there low end market and to compete with Toyota Subaru and Hyundai which have or will have a cheaper rwd sport coupe in the next few months
nissans line up has become stale with useless crossovers and more and more 4 door vehicles
and if your any other forums please post this on there and try to get as many ppl to do this as possible because i for one would rather have a rwd nissan than any other brand
I don't have a face book account, but I hear what you are saying.
I have a weakness for the S14's.

I think he wants a cheaper rwd Nissan. Somethin in the low 20k range.
I guess he is looking for a little 'go getter' that would be a nice platform to build on.
Don't mention the Juke. Just a little car that is relatively cheap but has some kick to it.

there is talk of bring back the silvia but i do believe that if it is brought back that it will be over priced because it will be looking to feed of alll the hype from its older brothers and besides what motor would they use there really isnt many options becasue they arent going to use the same motors they used in the past and if they switched to a v6 than well i dont know
Yes, this is long overdue. The Z is a great car, but too heavy and more of a sports luxury. What we need is a lightweight RWD chassis (Nissan) that is significantly cheaper than a Z, which from 1989-1998, the S chassis fit those requirements. They could experiment with a QR25DET or a variant of the QR25 to put in the new Silvia. Thing is, it has a lot of history and "bad assness" to live up to...
yea it does and if they dont it right it will either be epic success or and epic fail
Mass produce the Juke-R for 20k. :P lol
JK aside, this has been beaten to death. Do they need one to compete with the upcoming Toyobaru? Hell yes. Will they build one? Probably leaning to a big no or not anytime soon. See, as a company, they're geared towards longevity of the company, in which they need profit to operate. If they're R&D/Building a new platform, it'll cost money. Money that Nissan doesn't really have a lot of. Look at Toyota, they've been building bland cars forever, but they're turning huge profits all over the place thus they're able to put some more money on the new car. Nissan's sales haven't been astronomical at all. Nissan needs to bank on some money first like Toyota and then build one. So yea, I see your point, but don't get your hopes up.![]()

if they used a rwd variation of the new hybrid/supercharged qr25de that's being put in the new altima and pair it with a chassis similar to the s-chassis then i think they'd have a definite winner. especially if the new chassis would handle similar to the s-chassis. just my opinion. i would love to have an s15 though.
