I used heavy duty velcro and attached mine to the side of the box. That way I didn't have to screw into the box potentially causing air leaks.

if you have the rockford fosgate package, you should have a stock amp thats bolted to the ceiling of the trunk, i was gonna buy a mini amp like an 850, and try to make a custom harness to use it with stock equipment, and imma mount it in the same place, plus i hear these little RF subs will bump hard on an aftermarket amp

just for imagination's sake, i think a nice looking amp (which is plain, flat and smooth but whatever floats your boat) could be cool mounted on the back deck, especially if you are willing to cut the back deck upholstery and tuck all your wiring.

pretty much makes some limo tints a must though.

Why is that stupid? You've never seen that? Easy access for people who regularly change their settings. With tints dark enough to hide it, heat coming in would hardly be a problem.

In Texas in August when it is easily 115 out during the day you'd fry your amp sitting like that in the direct sun, tint or not.

thats cool however, that makes it so you cannot just throw the back seats down which i do often
