buy a nice quality amp, this alpine will give you 4 channels, you can use 2 ch on the front which would be plenty of power and then you the rear 2 chs bridged for a single sub...prob something like a type s 10. its a little more money but that amp will last you many many years and also take up very little room.

Alpine speakers are on sale right now at Best Buy. Buy the first pair get the second pair 1/2 off. They have a set of components I have been looking at getting for the front and a 2-way for the rear.

ive been doing this for almost 2 decades and i have never felt the need to run rear fill, its just that fill! i dump them in every car and put that money into a higher level front pair. it also cuts the need for power on the rear and you can get away with only buying a 4 ch amp.

well i already ordered the 2 ch amp from crutchfield because i had some credits so both the amp and the wiring kit only cost me 15 dollars. i was thinking if i was going to get a sub that id just get a single mono amp

This. Rear fill pulls your sound stage back behind you. How many times do you go to a concert and listen with your back to the band? Its only good for the few times you might have someone(s) sitting in the back.

lol so no one really answered what i was asking. I already have the amp and wiring kit looking to buy the alpine spr-60c components. I guess i still need speaker wires. and can aftermarket tweeters for in stock location (searched didn't find anything)? I know i'm prob better off making a new spot for them but kinda would rather not have to drill new holes. what other than speaker wires do i need before I install? Do i need those speaker spacer things?

I have heard of having aftermarket tweeters in the stock location, don't know how much modification needs to be done though. Looks like you have everything else covered

umm you should be able to use the stock wiring. Just run a extra set of wires to the dash and connect them there. Dont go the cheap way out and use electrical tape, get some small wire nuts or some splice caps when you do all your wiring!

What are you going to use to power your sub seeing that you are getting a 2 channel amp?

Correct me if I am wrong.
Deck > 2 channel amp > front components.

If you don't have a sub, get one. Music don't sound good without one.

are you using the factory amp or headunit amp or an aftermarket amp? im personally not a fan of using any factory wire but then again i tend to drive a ton of power through everything and that wouldnt be smart on that 18ga wire. its really easy to run new wire through the door jams so i always do. your antenna makes it realllllly easy. tape wire to end and pull both ends of the boot and fish the wire though. it takes all of about 5 min per door.

That is a good idea. I never liked the idea of one amp running my entire system.

you dont like the idea of using a 6 channel amp or you dont like the idea of using the same channels to power comps and subs?

yeah, its all about money, from what i saw he was using, i figured he wasnt trying to pull new wire to everything.

But I will say this, Being a Low Voltage tech, If i ever upgrade past the HU, i will run new wires all the way, usually 16-18ga from the components to the 4ch amp, Run a 4gauge from the amp to the battery, definitely fuse it within 6-12inches from the battery. Put your grounds withing 12 inches of your Amps (the shorter the better) and bolt them to anything with bare metal to ground. Run 3 quality sets of RCA Cables from the HU to the trunk, Two for the component channels and one for the sub channel. You really should have two amps, a 4ch and a Mono 1ohm single channel amp. It is best to buy two dual voice coil 4ohm subs so when you series them down, you get 1ohm and your amp is running at the best it can. Also it would be wise to invest in a Active Crossover for the component channels to tweak them in just right.

This is just how i've done it to many many many vehicles over the years....

On a side note.... run your power wire from the battery on the opposite side of the car as to not run the RCA cables and speaker wires next to it.

power wire on the drivers side and all signal wires on the passenger side.
