Any mount a tweeter in the door?
Has anyone ever mounted their tweeter in the door? If so where? My new tweeters will by no means fit in the pillar
Yes I did. And I did it the wrong way. I located the too far aft on the door I was trying to get them close to my ears and used the back of the panel to find an exact location.
They were fine for me but when my wife would wear something that snags easily it would snag her clothes.
And when we would slide the seats forward we would have the same problem.
Next time I do it I will put them just aft of the door handle.
Remember that once its done you can't move them without getting new panels.

Sorry nope. That car is a goner. It's in a Dallas junk yard by now. It was totaled in January.

My car has a set of tweeters in the plastic piece behind the mirror on the door panel. They were in the at when I bought it
