It will fit... but I'm sure you'd have to build the box inside the car and slide the sub in...

I'm sure it ll have to be a big box for a 15 to push some air

I custom made a ported box for my old 15" L7. Ended up with 3.3ft^3 of airspace. BARELY fit, but it did. And it POUNDED on 3000watts lol. But like pat said, I would never do it again. I'll stick with one 10" or an 8"

Common sense says if your spare tire will fit, a smaller sub will fit

Just know you cant go any bigger than 16.5" on the height, or else the trunk wont close and it will hit the stock amp hanging from the rear deck. The scratch on the top of the box is from the prop cross-bar scraping it when closing the trunk

Mine fits perfectly in my spare tire section. Used a 48 x 24 sheet and basically the 24" to be the length so it stayed true.

I had a box the exact same size (sealed tho) even looks like it sat in about the same place, 3. 12" RF T1's and a BD3000.1 that was crazy! (i did used to work @ Rockford and got the amp for free) for " real life torture testing" from the engineering dpt Fast forward to now, I have 1 12" T1 with a BD1000.1 in a 2.4 cu ft box (ported) more than enough.

No, no, no lol. Alpine Type R 10". Shit a 15 wouldn't have enough air space with a box built to fit the spare tire well. I was just taking the opportunity to show my pic

I had a huge box that held one 15 in my old sentra, i had to take the spare out to wedge the box in and wriggle it around but eventually i got it straight and then put L brackets on to hold it in place. no spare tho

you can fit an 18 let alone a 15. build a box without a bottom mounted over the spare tire well. attach the 4 sides together and attach the top all in the trunk. bolt box down and use sealant between trunk floor and box. to go even bigger you can cut the spare tire well out of the car make a replacement "well" that is rectangular and larger than the round one. then a bottomless box is fitted over this.
