Thread: Bluish Smoke on B13GA16 above 4k rpm...

hi there. Bud Turlan here. Got a some Q for you guys. I just hope you won't turn me down. Got a Nissan B13 GA16DE ride. Its matic, hell yes. am having this bluis smoke coming out of my tailpipe everytime i reach 4k up rpm and everytime i floor on the gas from a full stop having been running for almost an hour. Please help

How many miles are on your car? I would guess piston rings....blue-ish smoke is usually burning oil.

Another thing that would point to the piston rings is the smoke increases with rpm, the faster the piston moves, the less seal your piston ring is making, thus burning more oil.

just a guess though...

I second the burning oil theory as bluish smoke typically points to that problem.
