    Default Cheap power

Ok, so i'm running a 99 Nissan Sentra with the 1.6L, i only payed $150 for the car as i am going to be using it for dirt track racing. Looking for good ways to get cheap power, as in, things i can either make myself or just cut or move something. Any ideas? I've already cut the exhaust off after the first 90 before the rear axle and extended it out the side of the car, i've also already made a short ram intake for it. Any other ideas?

You're gonna have a tough time finding info on the GA16DE here. Maybe a cheap ebay header? They can be had for under $100 shipped.

Gutting it is about the only other way. I forget who did an article on it, but it was getting your b15 (sr20 I think) to be 14 second car stock. It started off serious with some good info, and by the end it was just a motor and wheels. Lol.

IIRC most of the GA stuff swaps over to the QG. There has been talk about running aftermarket GA cams in a QG for years and years. It always boils down to, will you really see any power gains, and it seems no one is ever able to find them/to cheap to buy them. You're probably not going to find an increase in power with an aftermarket GA header VS a hotshot replica QG header. Of course the aftermarket GA header might "fit" (ie. bolt on to the QG) but I doub it will bolt up to the QG catback without modification.

oh well i already have a full exhaust setup waiting to be put on, i was just thinking to myself today and remembered hearing it would fit. yeah it probably wont do much on stock catback however if i had a 2.25" catback wouldnt it have somewhat a advantage? I might try and see if i couldnt get this to work after i get my other installed and driven for a few miles. just to test it.

hey i dont know much about b14's because i am a b15 guy, but in the january 2010 issue of super street, in the readers rides section, theres a pretty clean 200sx featured, the guys name is Rob Orner and the location says Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Maybe you can find this man on a forum somewhere and he'd be able to help you out, his B14 is sporting a boosted build

like i said i dont know much of anything for the b14 but i hope this helps possibly
