Thread: headlight wire location

Im trying to find the wire that comes from the headlight switch.... having to put a new light in my ac/heater control and i wanted to wire it up to that so that the lights only come on when i turn the switch... Anyone know where it is?

wait, what?? you want the hvac lights to only come on when you turn on the headlights?? so you dont want the hvac to light up when you turn on the park lights?

split off da wire from the dimmer switch for the dash. i did that with my tach, turns on when my parking lights are on
