Thread: side exhaust

does anybody know or heard of us having a side exit i want one but not sure of course custom but everything to make it not loud as f@#k opinions would be great

yea if you put a huge ass resonator in there, it probably will be ok. all depends though.

that's what in actually thing hows a 22 in res

believe me, even with a resonator, its still going to be loud. i have a resonator thats prolly 22", but it was LOUD AS BALLS. i got a thrush welded muffler for it and it quieted it down a quite a bit. it was still a bit loud, but the tone is deep and really nice. also, you can hear it inside the cabin. its like having a sound system putting nothing but bass out.

SERTRA has it. hes the one w. the gxe lip on the 04 and the crazy fitment w. the wheels...

its actually pretty quiet, ive been cruising with him before...

i started out with a ga16de manifold to get rid of the pre-cat, then i ran 2 & 1/8" tubing to a 03 mustang cobra secondary cat and my old "ricer can". its ok but i think im gonna change the muffler for a 3' cherrybomb

I have it on mine, i took some 2.5 pipe and welded it up and to make the bends and stuff mine comes out right infront of the rear pass side tire. Its loud but not really annoying. It sounds really nice with the turbo i can tell ya that.

i have mine, with a magnaflow inline muffler with a resonator, its loud... but the 3 inches doesnt help, lol...

i did it one day just to do it, so i need to pretty it up
