... Has anybody else experienced this ? ... Motor is running fine, then the motor looses power, will not go over 2200 rpm, and the "set" light flashes when you have the cruise on, not necessarily engaged, but just on ... You have to turn the car off … Listen for the the 3 “clicks” behind the glove box … Then restart …
... Just got a new throttle body put on 2 weeks ago and it ran good for a week till today ... now its back in the shop ... guess it was a waste of $510.00 ...
... Anybody else had this problem ? ...
sounds like a maf problem

yup in my experience i'd say do the Idle Air Volume Learning, There is a way to do it on your own and a post on it or u can goto the dealership to have them use the Consult. It takes literally 5 min. to do max if the car is warmed up. The method of you doing it just required good timing. The IAC came with your throttle body so if you replaced it the relearning is a must. Might as well take a look at your Mass Airflow Sensor too.. clean the 2 wires inside it that are found in a hole that faces toward the direction of airflow... After this you usually have to do the idle relearn aswell.. I'm sure the relearn procedure is on b15u but this is the one i had saved. ... Just picked it back up from the dealer ... they reset the CEL and said they had to reprogram the senors on the throttle body ... we will see if this clears up my problems .. but I doubt it ... I have the demon car from hell ... I paid $17,000 new and I have invested at least $6,000 in fixing problems, ie: new motor, various sensors and the wheel hub on both rear wheels, and now I got to do the clutch soon b/c my release bearing is making noise ... Dont think I will purchase another Nissan ...
... thanks for the posts and advice everyone ! ...
^^ lol they prolly raped u for something u culda did for fre...idle relearn lol
... Actually, the did it for free ... just cost me gas and aggravation for dealing with rush hour traffic in Raleigh ... But I guess you can say they got me on the install b/c it was over $275 in labor to install and program the throttle body to start with … Can you say "RIP OFF"!!
^^ thats the stealership for you lol
I've experienced something similar to this before... apparently it's called "limp mode" and its a safety feature on the qr25de...
For me it was an issue with the throttle position sensor on the throttle body. All i had to do was clean and reapply the electrical connections, then restart the car. It's usually just a connection issue, I doubt its programming. The throttle body on our car is hyper sensitive.
