    Default What is wrong?

im new to the sentra world as of last month. i own a 05 ser. everything is going great minus this problem. on launches especially the car would stall out and blow the 10 amp eccs fuse. i replaced it with a 15 and the car sometimes still bogs out like it wants to stall. i have no clue what the problem is. any ideas or suggestions?

If you still have your stock header with pre-cat, then it might be the pieces getting into the engine that is causing the issues.

The blowing of the fuse is puzzling me though.

If one of the screws come loose and get into the engine, that can cause all kind of trouble, including bending a valve and causing the car to stall.

    Are you getting any codes?

checked it out a couple weeks ago. no codes. trying again tuesday. could the stalling be from a bad ground or cam sensor?

Unless you know that you installed other electrical stuff, it might be a bad ground. That would explain the blown fuses.

Would you mind if I ask you what fuse are you blowing also did you checked for codes, some malfunctions does not turn the Check engine light on so a nice code reader would help if you have a nissan service manual.. and by launch you mean normal start stop or only hard launches?

any weird noises? Because my 240SX had a similar problem would drive nice economicly and if i floored it i would hear sounds that sounded like a missfire and fireballs sometimes it was a ground problem ground kit fixed it, and in my spec the same happened but no missfire sound it only stalled on the lights sometimes and in toll stations i cleaned my grounds and ordered a ground kit no problem since but the fuse thing is puzzling none of my cars has done that

hmm if that is the engine control one you should check your grounds then your harness check for broken wires or something

sounds unlikely since your check engine light is off, but if you have a nice code reader read the voltage signal its throwing and see if its the correct one...

Sounds like a bad ground or bad positive or negative connection on the battery terminals.

yea I'd try cleaning the posts on the battery and make sure they arent loose in the battery

Blowing fuse probably has to do with broken insulation on a wire and it comes in contact when it stretches due to the engine movement while you launch.
