    Default 1st time staller :/

Hey guys... well as you all know I don't have a sentra, I've got an '03 Lancer OZ. I've always been up-to-date with inspections and oil changes and never really had any engine problems or anything but today was the first day my car stalled on me. Bear with my story-tellin lolz...

I was driving to school this morning and was slowing down as I approached a light on kissena blvd. As I de-ccelerate the car comes to stop faster than usual and starts rolling... now I think I accidentally slipped into neutral, but when I look at my gear it's still on drive. Then the engine completely stalled and of course all my indicator lights came on... engine, oil, etc. I kept turning the ignition on and off in 2 min intervals until like 10 mins later the car started again (with the check engine light still on). Taking a chance, my bro and I brought the car to the mitsu service place by my house and on the way there, the check engine light came off.... so the car's still at the shop (I want them to check it out 'cause my warranty expires in a month)...
and I'm still left guessing what the hell happened. Thank goodness I was just coming off the service road and wasn't on the highway when this happened or I would've been screwed.

I'm NOT very knowledgable where it comes to cars, so maybe this has happened to someone else before? :?

^^happened to me last week. Don't panic, could be any dumb reason.

Sounds like an air flow problem.

even though the engine light turnes off the code will still be stored in the ECM... let the people at mitsu's service department check it out... if you're under 3 years 36,000 miles it will be covered by warranty

Thanks guys! I should be getting the car back by tomorrow or latest Sat. Apparently two of my sensors went bad... so hopefully when they install the new parts everything will be perfecto again.

It was the camshaft sensor and the crankshaft sensor... Lolz I have no idea what those things are, but they're all brand new... free of charge 'cause I'm still under warranty. Yayyy!
