Thread: Advice on Window tint black 03 spec v

So im wondering if i should get my windows tinted or not... My spec is black with the stock 17" rims. One friend of mine says it looks clean without it, another tells me to Do 5% in the back and 15% in the front.. Oh and im installing 10000K HID headlights and 3000K Yellow fogs. What are your guys thoughts?

That is a personal preference man.

Some people like the clear glass, others like 5% all around, including windshield.

Do what you think will look good to you.

Thanks and yeah i guess, i just want to see what would look better. Im thinking of tinting the back and front the same, not sure if 5% or 15% yet..

any tint laws where you live? might want to keep that in mind as well.

20% all around with 5% strip up front looks good.

drop it to 8k headlights if you want blue. You're not gonna be able to see to well at night. Lol

I recently decided to take my window tint off,I got a fix it ticket for the front windows here in california...I had limo tint all around plus double limo on my rear window..anyways,the car looks ugly with just the back windows tinted and since cops have nothing better to do than pull people over for tint,I just decided to not put it back and remove the back window tint..and leave it clean.
I LOVE having it all around,but I HATE having to pay $25 and paying another $50 to get it put back on.

that sounds clean! i wouldnt want it too dark with my black paint you know

and i was thinking about 8ks ill just have to buy replacement bulbs, i think 10ks might be too blue? and not bright enough

drop it to 4300k or 5000k if you want to see at night

I have a black spec, and I have 35% front, per state law, and 25% rear and I like it. I wish I could get away with 25% all the way around, but not worth a ticket.

Mine is tinted 35 in front and darker in back I don't know:/
Mine are 12k on head lights clear white are great with out fogs:/
I would go 6k man with fogs either way up to you.

I have a silver 2002, and its tinted to FL laws, but I am in Socal, but ky car is still registered in Fl so I don't have to worry about CA laws, and in the back window where the dots are I have a silver piece of vynal so it look kind of like carbon fiber

I run 6000k's i believe, theyre called 'daylight white' if you're trying to run blue then go with 8000k, but if you're just trying for a brighter light i would recommend 6000k. My fogs are 3000k and i really dont like the deep yellow/amber color, even though they are the brightest, i prefer the colorless lights
