Im installing my HIDs both 10k headlights and 3k fogs.. and i want to make it look cleaner with the yellow fogs instead of clear.
Should i buy stain glass spray or yellow tint for the fogs? is there any difference? like would it make my yellow hids a different color with the spray or film?
thanks
You could do the tint, that way if you don't like it its easier to remove. As long as its the 3k yellow you'll be fine. My buddy has yellow capsules (like what lexus uses) in his fog light housing and he's running 8k hids in them. Thought they would be green but no, its a dark yellow.
3k fogs should be yellow already...
My 3k weren't yellow enough I thought, and I used a laminex sheet I found on ebay. $5 shipped for enough to do it at least 3 times. Now they are just ultra yellow

I would also suggest laminex
i had hid yellow fogs but they had a hint of green and i didnt like it.
now i have yellow film over the fog cover and nokya bulbs.
i think i paid $5 on ebay and it took about 10 mins to remove and install.
you should not only wrap your fogs but wrap your headlights in the film too.

PLASTI DIP FTW
i just want my fogs yellow cuz i like how the bulbs look yellow! and nooo not the headlights ha
its an easy process just unbolt the fog light case and clean it...then cut a square of film to to be able to cut it in the shape of the round fog cover with the adhesive backing still on...then start placing it over while using a razor blade cut small lines around the entire film so you dont get creases on the film.finally, make sure the film is completely on and in place.

Stained yellow glass paint from Michaels! I used it and it came out so nice.
Yellow tint looks good
