You could go 9psi on stock internals but you better have a good way to tune and a low mileage engine.

Do a lot of research. A lot of reading. Then decide what you wanna do. Just because you have $1500 bucks and decide "i wanna turbo my sentra" Read up.

Well obviously it's gonna be tuned and the motor right now has 130k but I am going to do a full rebuild most likely with better internals and all

The best advice here is to read up on boosting you car so that you will be ready for what you are entering.

Don't go cheap on parts and try to cut corners because that will cost you more in the long run.

If you are rebuilding the engine with better internals, then you are safe with the 9psi with a good tune and proper build.

1500 for some quality parts is kinda difficult. I think I put a treadstone kit together for like $2500. It's risky buying used turbos, and if you buy new it shoots the price way up
