Thread: 05 sentra 1.8se foglight issue?

help a newbie out . so i have an 05 1.8se which is prewired with fogs but no fogs . buddy of mine gave me his fogs, stalk and relay which is from his 05 SER. he told me it was bolt on bolt off. i tried it and the fog is massively big for that hole and wouldnt fit as well as the mounting points are completely different . we have idencitcal bumpers and were like wtf why doesnt it bolt up. Is there a special bracket or am i just doing something wrong? ive checked all over and got no where on this topic. any help would be nice

Yup you need a special bracket in order to mount the fog lights. I have a base model 1.8 sentra which came with no fog lights and I bought some oem fog lights and ended up using the plastic covers, which came in place of the fogs stock, as brackets to mount my fogs instead of paying like $100+ for some brackets.
