Default My B15 is sold, bought a Jeep

Hey guys, just wanted to say thank you for all the great help over the years. I sold my B15 today and bought a '96 Grand Cherokee, planning on a 2'' lift and 31'' tires. I will still pop by though because there are some really cool people on here

just wait until that 90's american quality kicks in
i think we lost 2 powersteering pumps, a water pump, a door fell off, an incurable o2 sensor light, and among other things within 4-5 months lol
that was just one of the 3 jeeps i have to deal with

had a 97 with 4.0. power steering pump loosened itself and went straight into the radiator. we had to rebuild the transmission and after 10-15k, it started to have the same symptoms. there were wiring gremlins, so every so often, all the interior lights would come on and scare the fck outta me.

however, i liked that jeep. wish it was more reliable.

My offer still stands!!!! You chose a spot and a free shoot for any B15 guys I don't ever charge actually lol because I'm far from a pro.

As for my Jeep, the thing has demons and is a gas hog, but I'm averaging about 20mpg with city and highway driving mix. I actually don't miss my B15; I kind of grew out of having a car that attracted the police lol, but if I would've had a really nice B15, things would've been different. I also drive out of the city on dirt roads a lot and felt bad beating on my Sentra like that.... I'm hoping it'll last regardless; the issues you guys mentioned are pretty much my real concern (tranny mainly) but I am driving like an old man and hoping she'll last!

Well crap, another QG family member gone...good luck with the ZJ, watch out for those troublesome transmissions.

If you ever get the Jeep seriously lifted bring it down to TN and try out WindRock OHV

You'll be missed Montreal1.8. I know your posts answered a lot of my questions when I first got my spec. Good luck with the Jeep. I loved my 94 XJ (2" lift on 33s)!

Thanks guys! I'll still visit the forums and try to help some 1.8 guys if I can!

As for Chrysler and Jeeps, I think it is more of a love/hate relationship that owners have with them lol

My Sentra was completely rotted out, literally no rockers, holes in strut towers, rear fenders were disappearing, holes under the floor, etc... I loved that car but it was not going to last much longer... When I have money one day I would love to rebuild another Sentra just like mine was, but with the SR20 and fully bolted/gutted. Until then it's only 1 vehicle!

Yeah man, the QG forums taught me so much! Trucks have always been my favorite and I felt bad treating my Sentra like one on the back roads, so I'm happy with my ZJ.
