It might of been a faulty check engine light. This is how to do a self diagnosis and to clear/reset the whole ECU. See if this works before you do anything else.
Turn the ignition to the ON position
Wait 5 seconds, nd then push the accelerator pedal to the floor and release 5 times quickly within 5 seconds.
Once you have done that, immediately start counting to 8
Now press the accelerator to the floor and hold there until the Cel (check engine light starts flashing)
You can now release the gas pedal
Long flashes indicate the first digit in the code
Fast flashes will indicate the next digits
there will be a small pause between digits
10 flashes equal to zero.
Ok now your in diagnosis mode.
Hold the gas pedal to the floor for at least 10 seconds or until you get 4 sets of 10 flashes (0000-meaning all clear)
If this doesnt work, then try the idle relearn method
i checked it with obdII. im guessing its a leak from the injectors since when i took them out i didnt put new o rings on so the old ones focked up and now i got an air leak. ima check it out tomorrow.

well even if you checked it out with a obd2 scanner erase it and see if it keeps coming back, and if it does then just check out the rings tomorrow like you said.
this is the second time...but my idle is out of wack so i need to check it out asap, and i also hear a sound from the injectors, like air leaking

yeah, then i guess you know what it is if you hear sound coming out of it. i'm pretty sure it's that then. Y where you working on the injectors? where you replacing them?

when you had the IMS did you notice a difference?

update: so i put in the o-rings but the car got P0123 and P0223 codes and it wont run..wtf happened now?

are you sure it's the o ring and not the injector itself? if it wont run it's probably a fuel thing.. since you were tampering with it. just make sure all the clips and wires are put back. *maybe a ground? Did you put the Throttle position sensor back on because thats what p0223 is.
