i dont think you would have to worry about it if you change the manifold to a header. Get youself a header and no more codes, your Cat is probably going bad.

bank one is prolly just clogging up the precat, and sending a signal to the sensor that not enough air is passing through...
get a header, lemme know how the power feels...

oh the other thing i was thinking is if i should lower my grade of gas i put in cause the gas around here doesnt have ethanol in it and ive still been usein 93 still and i wonder if that has something to do with it im thinking about switchin it up to regular 87 or 89 but 93 might be too strong around here idk if that makes any sense but u guys know anything about that ?

It shouldnt have anything to do with you switching fuel grades. Dont bring it down to 87, the lowest you should go is 89 thats if theres no 91.

if ur runnin rich, this could be the cause....
bank one is clogged, sensors detects less fuel so it accompidates by sending more fuel, running rich.. more fuel floods the chambers, boom done..
this is wat happend to me... i went through gas like it was water when i had this problem...

This is true. Sometimes if you change gas grades frequently, it'll make the SES light come on or so it says in the manual.

The higher the octane the better depending on your application but you'd think it'd be better for the car but it's actually not. The manual says which grade of gas to use for a reason. You might feel a little more power but the spark it makes and whatever affects the motor and your motor ends up feeling it - at least that's what my mechanic friend told me.
