Thread: oil burning on the qr

ok so we all know the 2.5 altima has same motor as we specs do...
ok so i yesterday i went to check his oil, and he burned nearly 3 and 1/2 quarts of oil, and hes like maybe 3k overdue on his oil change so thats a total of 6k miles since his last oil change.. can this be possible,? 3 1/2 quarts of oil???

i check mine since my last oil change, and burned about 1/2 a quart, but im like due next week for my 3k service....
just thought id give u the heads up... his is an 06 as well...
i thought it was mad weird

there's an oil consumption recall on the 06'2... tell him to go to the dealer and find out if the recall applies to his vehicle

was there oil all over near the filter hook up or plug? thats a whole lot loww

nah no oil leak,, dunno.. he said he never got the letter, but i did for mine.. and i got a new motor...
