I think its when a person puts in their time and effort into something that they thought of or designed

Bough usually refers to ppl who don't know much into what they invested and cant handle or take care of it... sort of careless

I look at it in this way.

Built - I made it fast all by myself.

Bought - I bought it fast.

But...at the end of the day, does it really matter ?

What if the bought car waxed the piss off the built car ??

There is always going to be a faster car, doesnt matter what you have or done to your car.

But mofoka is right, there is a sense of attachment to your car if you put time and effort into.

built not bought i feel means u spend time and effort, and know wat u r doing to go fast, but still on a budget.... not bought means ur car savy....??????? but at the end of the day its the same, if u ask me, u'd be smart to buy a built car thats just as fast as a car that has been built. no wat i mean??? might actually save u time and money

i agree with mofo, its the sense of pride in having a built car...just to illustrate, a stock evo (bought) costs 30k+ where as a spec v costs merely 20k give or take...invest 10k under the hood of the spec and u have a built spec spanking an evo that was bought fast even though they costed the same in the long run..its the pride

so now what if i buy that built spec, then i will be spanking evos, and then whats the diff?? and im pretty sure since u invested 30k including the car, it will cost me less to buy it from you. lol

pride yea ok but you know what, i have a damn good paying job that i have pride in thats allows me to go and buy a fast car from the factory while you waste your time on your measly budget trying to go around me. at the end of the day i still have my warranty...

Do you have a BMW? thats usually how bimmer drivers talk about there cars.


And modifying cars is a hobby that many people take pride in. In my opinion enthusiasts modify cars not people who talk about there 100k mile warranty

BULLET BULLET BULLET !

If you see evos and sti's and all those everday cars its like ok there goes an Evo or "x" and then watever, u keep on with ur day. But then take a spec and turbo it or take an s2000 and drop a supra motor on it then the reaction is 13794048472820 times better. Doing the unexpected and seeing/hearing the reactions beats the evo or sti or watever car reaction any day.
