Thread: what color

should i paint my stock rims, bronze or gun metal

id say black or bronze... gunmetal seems like a good shade to be on , say, red or silver, white.. or a light color...

id continue with the blackout look you got goin. i say gloss black with clear coat.

well im going from gunmetal to bronze

i wanna paint the rims on my 02 ser auto bronze.. as far as paint whats the best one to use and how long should they be let to dry and how do i assure that they dont flake or rub off when it rains?

i think they looked nice silver...but tha bronze works...nice job

well this is what i did

i bought just rustolium antique brass metalic

your really only going to need 2 cans, maby 3
depends on how many coats you want
i did 3 and 2 clear coats

i just let them dry for like 10 min intervals

then just be real carful with them, mine made it through the winter and the only thing that took the paint off was my friend dropping them, o yeah also sand them down and use a laquer thiner, use a very extra fine grit sand paper. then paint...
