im here just browsing the web, and thinking of new stuff to do to the whip.
i do not completely understand wheel offset, so someone school me please.
if i did something like this, what offset would i need to get in order for my wheels to sit properly?? i dont want my shits sticking out... but i also want to see what wheels are availiable with this offset before i even attempt to do a 5 lug conversion...
discuss...

IMPORTANT!
It's important to know that adding adapters will also change your OFFSET. Unless you want to get the "sticking out" past the fender look, you must either match it with high positive offset wheels or install it on a vehicle with "medium-low positive offset", Neutral or Negative offset.
By exemple; You have a Ford Mustang 5.0L 1988 with 4x4.25" bolt pattern and +10mm offset. You want to install aftermarket wheels with 5x114.3mm bolt pattern and +45mm offset (like the '06 Mustang wheels...) This means the adapters in this listing will add 2" (50mm) thickness and you will end with +60mm (10mm+50mm) minus the +45mm from the wheel... So you'll end with only +15mm of "sticking out" past the fender look, which means it will fit perfectly. Please check measurements on your car/wheels setting before buying.

another option, is to find a 240 in a junkyard and buy 1 front and 1 rear hub and see if anything can be done, then i could just do this...

even though i highly doubt this will work. its still an idea to toss up, maybe make a phone call to who ever makes them and see what they say...

actually ottley u can just take off the stock front hubs and take em to a machine shop and they can drill it to make it 5 lug i believe it uses 2 or 3 of the stock lugs and the just bore out 2 or 3 new holes which would make it 5 lug and the rear, you would need 95-99 maxima rear hub and they will bolt up but you will need a machine shop to make you adapter sleeves for the hub bearings.
the fronts use one of the stock holes in the hub, the other four you'll need are going to be drilled. I still am checking into what size the sleeve for the rear is, probably going to have to mic em up. I emailed technosquare about the rear sleeve size last year, they wouldn't tell me the secrets. ...For those wondering I wanted to run 350Z wheels on my Spec.
executiv you are rite it uses just one hole the rest need to be drilled but the adapter sleeve has to be custom made...that is what i was told when i had contacted mike kojima...that is how he did his on his nitto b15...as for a machine shop, idk i am pretty sure u can just walk into any and ask and if they dont know what you're talking about just walk out lol
damn i just wanna do these,
i have the regular copse in my garage 19" i might get rid of em if i can go 5 lug

btw i have a set of front hubs i might be willing to get rid of but i am not sure...i wanted to cop some altima se-r rims but idk not so sure imma do it anymore cause i might be running 15's....im goin JDM lmao
Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but to answer the original ?, wheel offset is as follows- say you have a wheel thats 8 inches wide. The center (widthwise) is at 4 inches, agreed? A +38 wheel puts the hub surface 4 inches and 38 millimeters (i know the conversions are jacked but they are measured in different units) toward the outside (the side you see when the wheels are mounted on a car), or 38 millimeters closer to the face of the wheel. A 8 inch wide wheel with a -20 offset has the hub surface located 20 millimeters toward the inner bead, meaning the wheel sticks out more. Most Nissans run between +20 and +45, if you put a +20 wheel on a B15 it will sit out 22 milimeters (stock is +42 I believe), or 2 cm (almost an inch) past where the factory wheel would.
oh wait, the spec v axle is bigger than the se one i think... hmmmm lemme double check on that

Alti SE-Rs would be wicked on a spec, I thought of doing that but found 350z rims first. I was going to machine my hubs at my school, but waited too long and now the semester is over. Maybe I'll get to it in the fall.
TBb15 just wondering, why get the same style wheel you already have?
i love these wheels, not many people have em, and the 2pc only come 5 lug
i used to drive around nyc with my 5zr's and none of them are bent, they hold up pretty well
i wanted the hypers from the get-go but they offered me the regular ones in 19" - i was the first one to have em.
i might go with something else but these are up there right now
hehe had to throw in another pic lol

I hear ya, it is a rare and nice wheel. And +1 on strength of a quality wheel, I see why you like those that much. I just put my third set of wheels on my B15 a few weeks ago, so far I noticed 1 bend.
im still at a lose to learn this offset thing...so if i get a +45 for the spec will the wheels sit flush instead of going in the fender like stock? lol i dont know how to explain it..
