no offense but 14.46 is not accurate at all. I saw a turboed spec have a perfect run on the track ( 308 Whp ) and run a 13.2. Theres no way a turbo set up only shaves 1.2 seconds off a 1/4

anytime i've gone to the track and there were N/A specs they've only ran in the 15's. Sorry but not even the most phenominal driver can get a car down 1/2 a second

What makes you say it was a perfect run ? Who is to say SpecBee didn't have a perfect run as well. He said the times aren't official but they're pretty darn accurate, so even if he's off by a tenth or 2 he will still be at 14.5 or 14.6

I won' be surprised if turbo shaved off only 1.5 seconds.

perfect run to me means... Minimal wheel spin, no more than a chirp in second, and shifts approx 100-200 rpm after max power

    It's all subjective.

If you believe that you slap on a turbo on a spec and it's supposed to run 12's, think again. Well at least not on street tires.

^^I hope they used a G-Tech or something of the sort and not a stopwatch, cuz by the time you react and press stop on a stopwatch that's 2/10 of a second right there.

i know it won't run 12's out of the box. I just don't believe a Basically stock spec ran a 14.6

Since when is I/H/E, and Toyo proxies basically stock ?

I don't mean to be an obnoxious jackass, but that's basically being fully bolted.

Did you read the first post or do you not read what you type ?

(PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT PERSONAL) We've met a couple times in real life and you're a cool dude. I'm just the resident asshole

"Lets settle this at the Track!" "Run your car not your mouth!" Some of my favorite sayings. Real #s dont lie. And this is the owner of a dead stock Spec here, (except butterfly plates removed) ready to race, lets lock it up for a day on the strip.

guys.. we used the stopwatches professional running teams use...and we marked the 1/4 mile with those tools the construction people use when they walk that wheel thing down the street... have u ever seen em???
and plus we used the odometer that has the tenths spot, u can see when it rotates to 5(the white one, not the black numbers) oppsed to reading 0 which is ten or one mile...

anyways im not gonna say it wwas accurate, but close to it... and i hardly had any wheel spin on my launch, small chirp into second, and shifted pretty smoothly all the way to 4th... i think i reached the end of the marker at like 85 mph?!? i just glanced at it quickly...

it was fun.. actually for anyone who wants to try this out, hit me up..ill take you there.. i no ash would LOVEEEE this place haha

to me I/H/E is basically stock, considering now they make cams, 2 pulleys, intake spacers, throttle spacers, front exhaust tubes...etc. So if you think I/H/E is almost fully bolted you need to think of all the possibilities out there. Everyone and thier mother has I/H/E.
And Jon... Mr big site admin... i read everything that i write and i stand by it all so don't ever try and second guess me

That why I wrote the disclaimer 8). i don't and never will use my position to talk down on anyone. me and 2 friends started this for the love of the car and it;s become so much more in the past couple years. Intelligent discussion is the name of the game here and everyone is welcome to voice whatever their feelings & beliefs are.

I don't consider cams and and sprockets a bolt on cuz you have to basically go into the motor to install. That leaves the TB spacers which gives 1hp (dyno proven..lolz) and by front exhaust tube you mean the pipe that deletes the cat ?
