Thread: Code 0420

Guys been getting the code 0420, searched on b15sentra.net and most people said try changing the 02 sensor.

Most said that it was the CC recall, but alot of people argued that it was the 02 sensor most of the time and not the CC. Plus i dont have any of the CC symptoms.

So anyways, just wondering for those that own the 02 Spec, how much are the 02 sensors and whats the model numbers for them if you can get them.

I had that code. Took it to Nissan they checked whether it was the cat or not.
Told me it was the cat and that it they would replace both cats under warranty . Only thing is the parts were on back order, dude told me about a week, ended up waiting for 6 weeks before the parts came in. By that time i just put in a header.
