drivin to work my ses came on got the code and i was po420 TW (Two-Way) Catalyst System, Bank 1 can any1 explin that in english

O2 sensor... probably and bank 1 is the one closest to the exhaust manifold i believe

yea def o2 sensor, but its all about why... any of those causes on that site bring any attention to you?

well i did switch the afer market header back to stock that seems like the main reason they sayin

yea id get rid of that cat, if its too loud add a resonator. if u already have one, add another one

yea thats what ima do by the way you know any1 that sellin 1 i have 1 but i can only put 1 o2 sensor on it i wan 1 where i can put boh of them u know

nah not off the top of my head... but u can always get a O2 bung welded on.

1st of all i'd check the manifold and see if there's a hole in the Cat. A 420 code is nothing to screw around with on these engines. LOL and it's called a three way catalyst not a two way. So in the end, If there is a hole in the CAT then those CAT pieces have recirculated through your engine and your rings will be shot. So drop the engine pipe and hope for the best. If there's no hole then do what Tb said and get an aftermarket with no CAT.

It's actually the biggest and one of the most common problems... It's all of the 2.5's, altimas too

yea i heard bout that. thats why damn junk yard motors are 1500 bucks.

does this matter if its an auto? if so my bros altima needs a header lol

Transmission has nothing to do with an engine problem.
