Thread: Wanna See The Insides Of Your 04-06 Spec V Tail Lights?

So in the name of science hahaha or more like just to see if it could be done, the removal of the tail light lens from a 2004-2006 Spec V tail light.

It was cracked btw that's why i did it in the first place

I wanted to come up with a solution to the led clear lenses so now i got my parts

it being clear like that is sexy imo

yea it did look bad ass just with the reflectors when i took the lens off but, im shootin for spec v / led hybrid tail light so well see how it comes out after i get the led tails in the mail

i say make 2 rings of leds on the red portion and a small one for the signal

if i knew how to make led arays i would deff try it out but, im good with ripin stuff apart and making other crap outta it haha

so what im doin its ordering a pair of ebay led tails gonna dremel the lens off take some of the other refletor peices out and glue them together basically should come out badd ass.

if anyone is intressted in me making them let me know i might consider it after im done with mine.

we really need someone on here who is good with led's.. i mean someone on here gotta know how or know someone who knows how. i wanna get em done on my tails, reverse lights, and license plate lights too.

yea man i was so sick and tired of us not having shit i decided to do something so well see how these come out

i believe there are led replacement bulbs you can put in the reverse lights and license plate that are bright as fuck

check this out playin around with the reflectors and a led flashlight

now with the leds how so are u thinking about having them look or are they just going to be a functiional led taillight .... and whats the proper led u need to use in order to make it bright enough for a brakelight ? just wondering cause i do have leds laying around but probabaly not the right types to start messing with for this lol

im gonna be doing things a lil diff. gonna be taking the clear lens off and then removing the led array aka the reflector and then removal of the center ring with the clear oem one to put leds behind it as either signal or something else still work in progress

there gonna look like this but im gonna mod the wiring a bit and add some leds here and there its still a work in progress

yea i was talking led's as in cutting out the back housing of the tail light and making a board and such. not the bulbs alone.
