Thread: Gettin a 07+ Spec soon have ?s

Hi, im Jacob im new to this forum and would just like to have some quick suggestions on parts for my spec. So i have my heart on a lil red SER Spec V that will be my 1st car that ive been saving up for i should be gettin in the next few months. while im waiting im looking at parts for the car and i would love to see your guys favorite parts and stuff.

First of let me tell u wat i want for my car and then i would love for u to throw out ur suggestions.

Exhaust- cant be to loud, i like a clean sound
Intake- was checkin out injen so far at like it
Header- Megan racing has a nice header i was checkin out
Springs/Coilovers- i want it lowered so it looks flush with the wheels
Front Lip- i recently saw a red spec with black wheels and a black lip or garage liner(not sure)

Please let me know your suggestions, as i am already getting ready to have a few parts on hand so as soon as i get my car i can put my gear on.

I used to have a red 07 and I loved it when I owned it. It treated me well.

Exhaust - go custom
Intake - Injen
Header - Honestly, the Megan / M2 are crap (and the same thing). Get the M2 since it's cheaper and it eliminates the pre-cats.
Suspension - The K-Sports for the b16 are really nice.
Lips are for women. lol

I'm happy to answer anything you may have about the car

Thanks so much for the info theres alot of stuff going around saying that there is alot of problems with the new models. I really dont kno what to believe these days. Haha

Step 2. Make payments on time
Step 3. Refer to step 1.
Step 4. Buy parts and start modifying

Looking for a quiet exhaust get one with an oval canister muffler. I like the GReddy Spectrum Elite. You can find exhaust sound clips on YouTube of just about every exhaust on the market.
