Hey guys,
I currently own a 2011 nissan sentra and since i got the car back in march my gas mileage has been pretty bad for a 4 cylinder car. I average about 19.5 miles a gallon around the city and about 22 on highway. The car has 5000 miles on it and i have had this problem from the very begining. I dont speed that often and i usually drive with no heat or a/c. I was just wondering what could cause me to get such poor mileage
Its one of the baby 2.0 l
if you accelerate hard with those itll kill gas milage. its a small motor moving a moderately big car. and even if you dnt think ur romping on it, you may be pushing it a bit harder than you think. those should get 26 city and 30 mpg roughly...try taking off a bit slower and getting on the highway a it slower and see if that helps
4xYEA.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSTed.
take that shit back to the stealer and ask them wtf? cuz yeah a 2.0 should be at least a bit better

new or rebuild motor
If my mileage were that bad id take it back, we have a 2.0 and average 34mpg... on a long haul sometimes 37
Damn bro only 22 miles on the highway? I get 33+ highway on my 2011 2.0. Something is wrong with your car, should take it to the dealer.
