Im not sure if I missed sumthing but what happened to the polls? I cant find them so how was this cotq chosen, not $hitting on his win just curious. I was kinda excited to see who was nominated.

it was chosen randomly. people werent updating their posts regardless. not to mention it was based all on looks this is actually based on achievements.

Thank u for explaining and I agree to the winner of the month as I read his page and its dope what hes done to his car, I do have another question.... Will the cotq be chosen this way from here on and if so wat will us 1.8s have to do to be even considered? Swap, turbo, etc.

the fact that you have a 1.8 doesnt mean you cant win the cotq, i dont even think that there were any 1.8's that added their cars to the list of nominees so you guys have yourselves to blame. i dont think there were any vq cars in there either so dont feel bad.
just keep doing what you do and keep on top of your ride thread, its that simple.

anyway lets not turn this into a debate bout how the cotq is picked. congrats Westner. Ive seen his spec a few times and hes added a cf trunk, nismo wing and cf evo2 style hood. it looks nice and he knows what hes doin. anyone ask about the longtubes hes supposed to be trying out????

yea he has done alot in a short time. and hes not even done yet. i hope he hits 250.

yeah he has shown me some things he did like the chicken mesh in the intake so the air flows nicer and stuff like that

this is probably my favorite car on here. what is the purpose of the smaller air filter and where is it going?

Thank you for the complement. That white filter is a crankcase vent. I used to have the smaller Autozone filter but found that it was a bit small during full throttle operation - besides it will longer before I need to replace it.
