As far as the IAT sensor.. you can use one from a 2000/2001 SE. It was seperate from the MAF for that model year, and mounts in the intake tube with a rubber grommet.

Question, now wouldn't it be easier just to use the MAF that comes with the QR, because to my knowledge the Intake Air Temp sensor is integrated in the MAF, atleast mine is(22680-8J000), I'm almost sure the 04-06 is aswell(22680-7S000 every Nissan model now uses this number), because I tried to install a 00 Maxima MAF on my car when my MAF took a crap(it was the cheapest alternative and I had one in stock) and the car ran fine the only code I had was for IAT sensor....which I know came seperately on the 3.0s it was attached to part of the intake tube or on a resonator somewhere (I forgot exactly where) so that would take care of that.
As far as the TPS I know it's attached to an electrical motor.... either way I think the TPS would be the only real issue

Yes....two things to consider are the air horns will be about half that length...and the air box comes full size as pictured when we receive them....this box will be trimmed down once we have a test car to get some measurements from.

So then you like? We got the intake made this week and we put it together this evening for pics. Fitment at this stage is near perfect...just a little more fine tuning in fitment and that part is done!

That is a very nice set up & very sexy I'll keep that in mind if I decide to go standalone for 2011. I would really hate to loose my cruise control.

Please forgive me sirs, but I don't get why this would be wanted for FI over a more conventional custom manifold. I get for N/A if you have standalone and don't need the MAF anymore, but I don't get how the ITBs work better than an aftermarket manifold when you put that carbon manifold and 3" intake (for the MAF) on it.

The carbon fiber one is for the NA guys just so we're clear. The FI guys would have an aluminum boostbox, the inlet can be whatever size tubing you are using for your intercooler piping....preferably larger on the intercooler outlet side. Throttle response and power at higher rpms are greatly increased due to the velocity stack and tapered bores. Fuel atomization is also greatly increased by pulling the injectors back away from the head. Look at any Ferrari, LeMans cars, and many more boosted or NA high performance race cars use them. They're proven technology especially when the correct side runners and tb's are used.

Nice that ITB kit is coming along nicely. Next week I'm up to retune and post new results on the VQ35DE ITB kit Should post nice gains with the real 3 in exhaust and new header setup.
