The bearing thing is a little confusing to me, I'm not sure how to interpret the info found on the block and the crank. The four numbers on my block are 3333 so I'm assuming this means my cylinder bore is 3? for each sleeve.
A buddy of mine just had his motor built by Westchester Crank in Queens. PM him xxrjk22xx
I have found that high milage qr's wear unevenly. They wear to an oval shape and if I remember correctly the top diameter of the cylinder is bigger that the bottom diameter.
I would suggest a full bore to make them straight and round again.
You could use the markings on the crank and block to figure out what bearing to get and hope the spacing was right but I have a feeling that with 174k on it the clearances are probably a bit off of factory spec. You either want to mic all of the crank journals then measure the main diameters then subtract to get the difference OR use the journal chart, plug in the numbers and buy the bearings that correspond. Use plastigauge tape. If the bearings have too much clearance buy the next size up.
Do the same for the rod bearings/journals.
