I shipped you everything if you can recall, key and all so it could be reprogrammed if need be. I do not have a spare. Where are we at as far as progress on the harness? I need this car running again man, please. I'm sure you can knock this out in less than 28 days!!!
I understand that bro.. but, as we talked about over the phone, I had to find another VQ harness and redo everything since yours was shorted/burnt from the wreck. I bought you a harness 2 days after we talked, and got it done last week. It's finished and ready to ship. I just need to square things up with you. I've been in the middle of moving and I haven't had a chance to stop and call. Give me a shout tomorrow, so we can figure everything out. I just need you to cover the cost of the harness/parts, and maybe a fraction of the labor. As I said from the start.. I was trying to help you get back up and running. I wasn't planning on unlooming a burnt up harness.

By the way.. to avoid another potential short/header contact incident in the event of a collision, I wired up the o2 sensor plugs a lot shorter this time around. You will need to get a set of these.. http://www.amazon.com/Walker-250-231.../dp/B000C8ZILQ

They have thermal insulated shielding around the wires to prevent melting in the event that the wire bundle comes into contact with a header or exhaust pipe.

Thank you!!! Did you have to go with a dif ECU? Will this be turn key fire up or will I have to get it programmed again?

I'll give you a call around 10-11 your time.

    It runs!!

Took it to Nissan today got the key programmed and it fired right up! Couple issues though, it wouldn't take the idle relearn. It idles at about 12-1300 rpm and when im slowing down to a stoplight it will rev up to 1800 then drop back to 12-1300 rpms and will do this repeatedly until I completely stop rolling. Bad throttle body? Seems like an IACV issue..

Awesome! So, I guess the wreck/shorted harness fried the original ECU..

It has to be brought up to operating temp to do a relearn (200 degrees). If it still won't do it, then you have a bad TB. Give me a call tomorrow to discuss.. Congrats tho, man.. I'm happy you finally got it running.

Thanks again Travis for all your help!!

Yea it was brought up to operating temp and all. The consult would try to do the relearn but it kept freezing up. I guess the TB must be bad if it froze the consult up. I think he was using a consult III at that...

No problem bro.. Glad I could be of service.

Yeah, if the Consult doesn't complete the relearn, and freezes up, it means the vehicle is not up to temp, or the TB is bad (99% of the time, anyway).

depends on how fast you want it. it might be hard for me to meet you during the week cause of school, so i can just ship it and you'll have it next day.
