Thread: ChRiSSpec_VQ Rebuild in RED! -It runs!

So as some of you know my silver VQ was in a very bad T-Bone accident. My brother is still recovering but is out of the hospital now (Just shy of 4 months). I came across some insurance money and was able to find a shell. Picked up this what I think is a fully loaded '02 it has NATS already installed from factory so there's one less headache.

QR wasnt blown but needs to be rebuilt it burned oil very badly..

Travis I'm sure you'll see this at some point.. How'd you have my fans wired in the other car??

Glad to see you get back on your feet, Chris..

The fans are wired to the factory fan wiring harness. The engine harness that I built for your VQ is setup to turn both fan relays on when the key is in the "on" position. So, just cut the factory fan plugs off, and wire up your aftermarket fans to those wires. One side is a blue/black wire, and the other is directly below it. The other is a yellow/green wire, and it's corresponding wire is directly below it as well.

Thanks Trav! Thats the only thing I got a lil hung up on.. figured out the starter wiring and the alternator. I tried rigging the key from the silver one to get it close enough to the immobilizer but it still wouldnt start lol Nissan it is...

L.E.Sentra- The tranny from the QR is for sale I have no use for it.

Damn, yes thank god ya'll are ok.

He was driving.. pulled off onto the shoulder to make a Uturn and didnt see a truck doin about 60.. He was trauma hawked to St.Marys.. 8 broken ribs, colapsed lung, punctured lung, fractured pelvis and ruptured spleen. He spent 3 months in ICU 2 of those 3 he was in an induced coma. After he was released from ICU he spent another month in there. They released him about 2 weeks ago he still has a lot of rehab to do and weight to put back on but were all fortunate he's still here..
