    Update:
Head back about a week ago, and given back to the guy thats assembling motor.
Engine bay paint purchased (127 for 6 cans of paint!)
    Got vipec in hand now.
Motor should be compete within a week.
    Spec-v tranny arrived.
    Fmic kit arrived
s14 t28 (blown) arrived (for t04 compressor housing on gtir turbo)
Acquiring 17x8 5zigens with dunlop direza's on them. Powdercoated black.
Z brakes probably going to go on the car.

    Still need:

    Bumper
    Bumper cover

Just please promise that you'll respect us QR users out there In my honest opinion, I love anything that performs, I just hate those that brag about it. But you don't seem like this kind so good luck with everything and keep us posted!

No worries. I dont like to brag about stuff like that. I actually defended the qr on sr20 forum haha.
Whatever engine you decide to play with will get you there fast depending on how much money you throw at it, and how you address weak points.

All the bellhousing bolts off, and misc sensors, springs and bolts taken out too.
(notice the labeled flash cards with bolts and misc pieces taped to them too)

Annnnd how It sits now, I need to swap the internals to the p12 bellhousing, figured Id read up on it a ton more before I do anything else though (or ask my uncle or someone to supervise)
Gears seem to look fine though luckily.

Got tomei 260* 12mm cams, the engine is at a shop now, I didnt want to deal with the cam install (solid lifters require shimming and I didnt feel confident doing it)
decided to go with a different turbo too, so ill be getting a tomei m7960, if not the larger option. (I would like the response over power)
    NEW! Tomei ARMS M8270 & M7960 Turbo
Gears are swapped into the p12 bellhousing now too.
Got brembos for the car too.
Got arp flywheel bolts, but the flywheel I bought was for a rear drive sr, so the bolt holes have to be bored out.

Cams, fuel rail, rocker arm stoppers, injectors, and pulleys and mounts were installed
also finished the assembly of the transmission.
Bought a drill press, and drilled out my rear drive spec aluminum flywheel bolt holes to fit 13mm bolts, installed and torqued those arp flywheel bolts, followed by the act clutch, and finally the transmission was attached with 2 bolts to test fit a rear drive sr20det starter (dont think it will work, but maybe if I cut some water neck brackets the solenoid might clear)
Also need the gasket for in between my engine and tranny...

    Mounted engine... Kind of.
I need to figure out how to mount it on the passenger side and make brackets for the crossmember.
