I'm looking to do a full engine/tranny swap on my 2004 1.8 auto sentra. Currently, it's not my DD and sits in the garage. The engine doesn't have high miles, but it's very very weak, it drops speed 10mph on a very small hill and thought this would be a perfect project car. I don't know what engine to look for, I was told to get a vq35, then told not to do the vq35 because I can get more power out of the qr25 and turbo it. Then I heard to get a skyline motor which just seems crazy since the bay in the r34 is massive compared to this little sentra. Any suggestions would help a lot, any member motors/tranny for sale? I was also planning on swapping the gear box from auto to manual, lots of fabrication but again, it's a project car, and lastly, go from a 4 lug, to a 5 lug. Any help from anyone would again, be greatly appreciated.
