Between building a GenI QR and trying to swap in a GenII, it'd probably be cheaper and easier to build the GenI using most of the GenII internal parts.

and y think of swaping a 08 qr if u can swap in a vq for about the same price. IMO it's a waste to swap qrs

either way u look at it, the QR to QR swap is gonna take longer then a VQ swap. If your asking whats involved in a qr to qr swap, u need to make custom mounts and brackets just like the vq swap, The engine mounts and brackets are in different locations which is why u need custom work. U need a complete wiring harness, ECU. Deff not worth the extra 15-20whp. Your better off building ur motor to have a 11:1 compression ratio, 07 rods/07 crank. BUT... If your in school and thats your only ride, then it's best that you dont do those heavy modifications cuz most likely u will run into trouble and of course to retune your car. Either way u look at it, theres down time.

    save your money......get boosted....get tuned

or save your money.......drop the motor......buy better internals

why go through the hassle of swapping the same stupid motor for the sake of a handful of more hp and still be considered stock....?
