A drip pan under the vent could be made to divert dripping water without much difficulty...

Bryan, could/would you do a door guard style moulding around the cutout and mesh inside?

Here's another variation on the mustang vent theme... kinda expensive imo... but a nice style... Fulcrum Aeroworks - Splitters Name: Untitled-1.jpg

I also got this sucker today

And just placed it on the hood to see how it might look on the 04-06 hood:

Damn, those lines in the vent are opposite the hood lines, still looks good. Can't wait to see it installed.

Dave, that is a possibility. I picked up some sand paper today to start prepping the areas for paint. Guess if it doesn't come out perfect I could try that around the edges.

Lol, yeah, I'm leaning towards just filling those in entirely before I paint it. Hopefully it'll look like a smooth solid piece.

Yeah, not sure if you noticed, the hood is half sanded and has little cracks filled. Lol. I would vinyl it with CF, but I tried once with a friend and it's a lot harder then all the how tos and videos show.

    Woot!
I think I'd fill the hood lines in front and leave the rear lines alone... even move the vent a bit forward

I want the vent sitting just behind the turbo, not right above it. I'll have to measure it out and figure where that point is.

While driving, nothing. While parked, I will come up with some sort of cover I can place on it. I park in a garage, but when I work or w/e, I'll have it covered with something I make

went with cutting out in between the hood braces. The spot i chose is directly above the header. Repainting the car to a midnight blue also. Thinking of getting some of that door and wheel well edging to go around where i cut to clean it up even more then paint match it. Also thinking of deleting the antenna what do you guys think?
