Thread: F*%^ing POS ACER!!!

Well technicalaly a person is not supposed to hard shutdown like that for any type of electronic.

when i last used it, everything was fine for about 30 mins. everything stopped responding but the video was still playing.

I feel you man. I bought a Gateway laptop, which is made my ACER and had similar specs/price to yours. Mine took a shit about a month after my warranty period, and now it just sits there collecting dust. I got a great deal on it but not enough to justify it's expiration date. Never again.

I do it with my toshiba all the time, and it's no problem.
