Thread: I got beat by a Cavalier...

Driving home from my girlfriend's house, after she texted me that her brother caught us together in the back seat of my car
So realizing that her brother would tell the news to her parents, who don't even know we're going out yet, I'm a little pissed off. The fact that her mom prefers her to date Hispanic guys (cause my gf is Hispanic) and that her dad is racist against Black people (I picked a keeper didn't I?), the shit just hit the fan. So I'm driving home relatively fast, 65 on a 45 no big deal, and I try to pass this white 01-ish Chevy Cavalier with nasty chrome wheels and a high school kid with a hoodie on inside, blasting his music like a pimp ass. We stop at a light, and the light is unusually long. It stayed red I swear for 3 minutes but nobody was crossing the street, and this got me really pissed off. I was already having a bad night and I just wanted to go home. Light finally turned green, and I punched it. Chirped the tires a bit thru 1st, then chirped into 2nd. Then all of a sudden I see the Cavalier in the next lane pass right on by me, and I sink my head in shame. He was racing me and he won!!

We hit another stop light, so I looked at him, he ignored me of course, so I turned serious. Light turned green, and I got almost a car length on him thru 1st gear. Shifted to 2nd, and he put a car length on me by the time I shifted to 3rd. I knew my car was slow as hell, 90whp can't do crap. But I beat a Kia Spectra once and held half a car length on a 2.5L Altima thru to 55mph! But my 1.8 couldn't even keep up with a pos Cavalier!! It was an automatic too!!!

no they didnt because they dont tell people when they get beat.

Saw this when I woke up and laughed. Then I saw the 1.8. Everythingwentbetteerthanexpected

There is a Z24 Cavalier tho... It has a 2.4L with i believe 155hp ish. If it is that version then id say you actually did pretty good considering you have a 1.8L. My brother had a 2.4L Grand am with a 5 speed and it was pretty quick!
