Your car is a fart in the wind.

I don't know if you're aware, but a friend of mine posted your car on SRTForums because he was butt hurt that he saw the video of it stomping SRT-4's.

that's funny.. Every srt I've raced, I beat. Only one was able to hang a bit when I was on street tires spinning halfway through third. (that guy couldn't believe it was all motor)

Is this the friend that signed up here and made a newbie thread a while back?

Not that guy, he's cool. The guy that was whining about it on SRTForums is a 'friend' of Neonpla's, and mine.... and is a bit of a douche.

you guys never heard of a 4000 lb ,ten sec car lol

Travis is wise to me this time [ i asked for a street car last time , then mostly ran it at tracks]

so this time it's still street capable but much more trackable
    tougher and better balanced

i've learned from the circle track guys you have to finish to win
so i'm shifting at 7500 rpm and depending on the nitrous kick for the 10sec power

i'm not really competing with anybody, i'm pushing the sentra envelope a little further out

Andy's car is an example of what Travis and i learned doing mine
at a fraction of the cost of mine to repeat and he has certainly proved it's performance potential

so out of this project will come many new things and approaches to performance sentras
i get to enjoy the leading edge, while the ideas promoted enlarge the whole sentra community
    a good thing
many fun cars will follow this

it's hard to remember but my car was running these times in late 2008 and early 2009

I need to make something clear here
For it seems I have started a war

I love both F-IR and J&J, they do different stuff for our community
This is not a choice of one over the other
    But the intelligent choice of utilizing all [we only have two] the resources available in our community;
To build the project I have hoped for, for so long.

Please people, diversity is a good thing, not competitive elimination
Now we have three shifter bushing choices
    Two wild header designs
07 up v6 swaps and pandhard bars
    Drag bags and chassis bars
Things beyond our imagination even a year ago

    Don’t compare and contrast
    Combine!

And Please lets cut the bs
You should all know what I did with this car
That’s no reflection on Travis; he built exactly what I asked for
The reflection is on me, for extensively abusive use

It doesn't have to be. You could weld in a cutout, and a 1.8S muffler. Not to forget the ingenious 1.8S badge on the trunk.

    How about some 1.8S wheels?

Nobody would expect that to leave you standing.

yeah, but in the old days
cut out blaring , idle loping , spec v glaring from the sides, slicks on the front and sponsors stripes
    and still, no one knew

2 v6 years as import car in lane ....
fastest fwd car at my local track [also usually the only one lol]

there are too many funny stories to tell
you could leave the hood open and people would only note the cai
must people guessed 17.5 sec 1/4 mile times
my neighbor, at the time, and in on the build ,thought 14 sec times at best
it really hurt, when i beat his vette

i'm going to miss all that
    lol

    now everyone knows
and it will be hard to hide 255/40 tires on 17x9 inch rims

i may have to hide in the functional rice
[big wing , air dam, rear diffusers, and all the part decals i have could cover the car lol]

    i have "the turbo fear"

if i can ruin a built na motor
[i have this, don't shift till you pass them attitude]

i might kill a turbo very quick
esp as i am turbo ignorant

Travis has been trying to get me to go turbo for years

it took two years for him to mention nitrous in my presence lol
long hours of cushioning to get me to use an aluminum flywheel
i wanted c2 cams, and thought he was nuts talking c8s for the street

so I'm a little slow entering the 21st century
i was able to give up carburetors and didn't force Travis to run Weber's or del orto's. lol

this will also be my 1st stand alone [as well as nitrous system]

    bored and stroked
    ported and polished
    cammed and rodded
    has been my fame

    now it's time

I have the same fear as you... but not the same fear of shifting lol. I'm eager to get to that redline and shift point...

You shouldn't kill an N/A engine by kissing the limiter...

it would go to 8000 and stay there all day
    thats not what killed it

detonation on a very hot [over 100] and humid day running with the timing advanced
on too low a fuel level in the tank [heavy launch pulled the fuel from the pump causing it to go lean]

stupidly i ran with platinum plugs too [it was too hot to pull the intake and install the copper plugs] and on that day i didn't take the precaution of a little unleaded 100 octane race gas ether [with 11.5 cr]
