Thread: Boost Controller Problems

Hi my name is Danilo from Costa Rica.

First post here.

i was running back to play some drums and woops something didnt felt right, ok i think my boost controller is not working properly(Greaddy Profec B Spec 2), i ck the solenoid it sounds when i put air in to the head unit,so solenoid working fine, change vacuum lines all good, change hoses from piping , same issue, after a couple of shots i tight the waste gate a little bit more boost is build up but still no response from the controller. CK WG it works fine it does not stuck, i dont know what could be the problem here any idea how to test the controller by it self.

PS: There is a difference between the readings of the boost gauge and the boost controller, is this normal?

how much of a difference? It should be the same

Its about 1psi sometimes 1.25 more in the boost controller than in the gauge.


Another question how do you connect your solenoid? Regarding Com port to WG and NO to Turbo Housing?

I have it like this:

NC T'd to Bottom of Wastegate and Compressor Housing
COM to Top of Wastegate

I have a single actuator. So my set up Com port to WG and NO to Turbo Housing
Just to see if it is ok.


Still have no clue with what happen with my bc, i have test it and it works
