I agree with you, One of the most common things i have seen with all blown Turbo QR's is STOCK internals and NO timing control (not good)

I got those 2 covered so im feeling confident with the huge step i took, to build the engine Run a turbo with relatively high boost (sometimes, hoping for 18 psi high)

time will tell. ( oh and im a lil old for this shit too LOL so that will help)

Not entirely. I have been running low boost but its tuned on a safc, 1 step colder plugs, 100% meth inj and my base timing turned back 2 degrees. I run a 12 afr and dont have any issues. It all boils down to knowing what you are doing. people think making power is as easy as adding more boost

True, This is not my 1st boosted car (first NA toBoost tho) had one 90 something RX7 (short while) and 2 MR2's Both 91's (one with a JDM slightly bigger turbo, and one with a TD06 16G) Research is your friend and common sense. Clean looking spec by the way.

you have guts, a spare engine ready to go in, OR ur just crazy LOL

unless you have full control of fuel AND spark, id recommend you keep it on 10psi (even that's to the high side for stock QR's)

    hope it lasts.

The way I get on my motor at times, it would of blown up already. It will be fine, and if it blows that's a lesson learned

I just ran last night, almost 9lbs up to 7500+rpms. No issues, though I wouldn't mind having a block guard.
