Calling all Protech with Vband users...
or any one with a vband turbo....
I had an issue with mine hanging to low, I just had mine sitting, i cant remember how i had it adjusted but anyone who has one, do you have the ability to rotate it towards or away from the radiator and if so does the midpipe then hang very low?
I think i just had my sitting without any stress on it...
but cant remember and curious about others setups
I know some people have noted that they had their MP hanging low...
Input please if possible...

i don't know how bruce does his vband stuff, but his first pipe off the turbo can't really make anything hang lower, the flange is parallel to the ground, so that height is set.
what >CAN< happen is if the rest of your exhaust is shitty, and it pushes the downpipe/midpipe forward, it will angle the downpipe towards the ground, which will make the end of it hang lower.
so see if you can adjust the hangers on the muffler and make that move backwards some.

Right thats what i was thinking, but he said he tested it and it made a difference, not sure i guess ill test it when i get my new dp and mp back with flex pipe... along with adjusting my stromung... mine hung about 2.5in lower than the xmemeber tho... so we'll see mine dp was pretty vertical tho..

Don't mean to thread jack, but does mike at protech sell used manifolds? If so, I didn't know they sold used stuff. I need a manifold.

yea just the manifold. i have been looking. no one really selling anything atm. I have a turbo i'm using, and i'm making my own downpipe. I would like to buy a used manifold for like 250. I'll probably just get a treadstone for the time being.

I had the same problem as you john.
Only i had a old PTI kit 3inch vband downpipe. So it was the solid one piece J pipe style downpipe.

there's autoboost manifolds on ebay that are cast iron and very cheap. if you're making your own manifold you can just use one of those.
