According to Turbonetics the first time around with the Unichip, "It's plug and play, you don't have to do anything". I would never recommend Turbonetics parts, besides their IC piping ^_^. I replaced nearly the whole kit under warranty lol [including the turbo]. Unless there was some amazing technological advances, you're going to run into the cracked downpipe issue. Ask Ash lol. I went through 2 of them and just said fuck it let me get custom protech one. Go with a garrett turbo and custom build your kit. If I had to do it again I would most definitley go that route. You would save a little bit of money and get what YOU want exactly...rather than spending a shit load of money and wasted time troubleshooting and swapping/buying new parts.

    Default NOT SO TRUE

Turbonetic upgraded there down pipe at the end of 07 i should know i brought the first kit. there are no more issue with the pipping & if you have a 02-03 the reflash for the ecu is free & if you have a 04-06 it comes with the unichip

Yeah TN redesigned their DP. It's a great kit if you want no hassles especially for 02/03. Alot of people had issues w/ the unichip when the kit was fairly new, but they supposedly fixed that. It was usually a harness issue. You just have to make sure you let them know if you have the immobilizer or not. 04+ uses the unichip for tuning, the only problem w/ that is if you have to tune it later on, you have to find someone that can tune unichips. 02/03's have a ecu reflash which is what i still run today w/ safc on top.

Honestly for a beginner, it's a great kit because it's plug and play. The only real modifications you have to do is tapping the upper oil pan for oil return.

I know suprafast had tons of issues w/ his lol. My problem was the downpipe cracking issue.

Treadstone is still cheaper tho...but you don't get that TN 1 year warranty...a BIIGGGG plus IMO
