here's the update, the valves are fine, the cylinder walls are fine, no metal pieces to be found but i did see something which is chipped pistons

Valves are ok.

yea looks like a puddle on the top of one of the pistons...tht might be ur shavings that ur seeing

the peices you found are from the piston but because they were in the cylinder for who knows how long, gettin heated and knocked around, they changed shape. and that also explains why they were somewhat magnetic because certain metals respond to high heat, getting compressed, and getting shocked by a electric current by becoming slightly magnetized, some of those materials being iron, cobalt, and nickel for example.
