    Default 2013 Scion FR-S

Just reading up on a new scion. looks pretty awesome. redlines at 7400rpms, its a 2L, you can get it as a 6 speed manual and its rear wheel drive. I thinks its going to be the next big drift car. Scion FR-S Colors & Transmission | SCIONFIRST86.COM check it out

I saw this at the Houston auto show last week. Looks absolutely sick. But it's only a 2.0L with 200hp (to the crank probably) I don't think this is going to be a drift car... Especially with the wheel/tire setup it has

EDIT: The one they had at the auto show had some crazy wheels on it. Like had no lugs or anything. The one one this site is different

Scion/Subaru/etc. built this car right. Not a big boat like all the other RWD cars out there (*cough* Genesis coupe *cough*). The aftermarket will be huge for this car as well, so don't let the low HP figures bother you.

well its a horizontal motor not vertical so they were able to have it lower to the ground i guess like a boxer motor for a lower center of gravity and better weight distrubution. Its got a good stroke for boost and all the SR20 motor is a 2L and its a good drift motor. Its got more power than our car stock given less torque and you can get smaller rims.

A big boat for sure. The 2013 turbo one has 274hp though and the v6 goes up to 348hp. So it should make it interesting this time around.

Anyway, the FRS/BRZ will probably become the next drift cult car. Powerwise will most likely be solved by a turbo. A GT300 car was already built so no doubt the performance scene will pick this car up like its lost child.
