I assume your car is a 6 speed manual, because it says you have an 02 SpecV.

    Uhm...

    1. Have you ever changed a clutch before?

    2. In the period of time that you have owned the car have you ever checked the "tranny fluid".

    3. I hope to God your car is an automatic or that you're referring to "clutch fluid".

P.S. Tried finding the dipstick on the tranny? LOL

    THINK WITH YOUR DIPSTICK JIMMY!!!!!!!!

I use regular DOT3 brake fluid, but I bet there is something else for increased performance.

    Anyone?

hold on... are you looking to change the gear oil or actual clutch fluid that goes through the lines? when you take the axles out gear oil is going to leak everywhere so you gonna need to change that too.

well i never actually upgraded my gear oil so i dont know what to use. if you're going turbo i would change the clutch fluid to DOT4 it withstands higher temps. The slave cylinder gets pretty hot on tuirbo cars

Redline Heavyweight shockproof, in cold weather I'd use the lightweight shockproof.

Best fluid ever for severe duty, it's mainly used in track cars, my car loves it. It has solid particles suspended in it that cushions the gears, it flows like a 75w90 but protects like a 250 weight oil. The LSD in the Spec V seems to work better with it. The heavy weight is a little notchy in cold weather for the first few miles, but people say the light weight solves that.
