The resale on a modded vehicle is usually cheaper if you can find one at a dealership. But if you buy a modded vehicle from a private seller they are going to want something for what they put into the vehicle.

dealers will still rip me off, besides i like doing stuff by my self to things I am going to use, it makes me feel more secure and gives me better experience/.
