US Navy 06-10..was an OS2(SW) stationed 20-30 mins (or longer depending on traffic) from my hometown onboard USS Gunston Hall LSD-44...that place was decent when I first got there in 06...but as all the great people transferred within 1.5-2 years and they were replaced by DOUCHEBAGS and the ship became a shit hole real quick. I miss the actual job/underway times but don't miss the BULLSHIT from the E-7 and up crowd

Oh sweet, when you graduate if you have family coming for the ceremony please tell them to stay at the following hotel:

    Courtyard Marriott
    3800 Northpoint Boulevard
    Waukegan, IL 60085
    (847) 689-0135

They give discounts for the Navy graduation and it's located on the edge of a shopping center which has many many restaurants, it's only about 40mins from downtown Chicago and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable, they even have a pool and a hot tub.

    Best of luck to ya!
